Jackie Hamilton School of Therapies

Please read carefully:

Students contract to:

Pay the full course fees and any extra tuition fees and any examination fees/resit fees as and when necessary. All these fees must be paid before any exams can be taken.Attend all scheduled sessions or make up any hours missed at the discretion of the tutor.
Maintain reasonable punctuality.Submit your work for assessment at the agreed times.
Carry out the required number of recorded treatments.Complete all case studies on time.
Wear school top, black sports bottoms and black full shoes.
Provide complete confidentiality both in the classroom and for clients.Disclose any personal medical of psychological condition before enrolling, or any situation or handicap, which might affect the ability to study or complete the course, or to deal with members of the public as a professional practitioner.
To contact the tutor as soon as possible, or send a message through another student if he/she is not attending a class and arrange for a private session to make up.
Respect all copyright conditions.
Abide by the School's Code of Ethics, Conduct and Practice
Pay £10 towards the cost of a replacement coursework file should the student lose it. (this is provided at the beginning of the course and is included in the course fee)
Obtain student insurance for sports massage – school will advise on this.

The Jackie Hamilton School of Therapies contracts to:

Provide full details of all course fees and any additional costs before enrolment. No further cost to be mandatory.Provide an ITEC Accredited Course.
Provide a suitable venue and sufficient safe equipment for student's use.Arrive punctually for sessions and end each session on time within reason.Not to change session dates (unless due to illness or bad weather) without prior negotiation and agreement with students
.Provide adequate teaching and guidance to all students without prejudice.A
rrange times when tutor will be available for students to contact.Prepare students for examinations by providing a mock examination paper.
Enter students for the ITEC examinations when all the requirements of the course have been fulfilled and notify them of the results within 8 weeks of the final exam date.
