You will need a recognised anatomy and physiology qualification to do this course
The AOR qualification will count as will the ITEC/VTCT qualification.
Some nursing qualifications (after year 2000) also are APL’d for their A&P but you
will also
need to do the Business project work and exam (an extra £50 plus exam fee)
Indian Head Massage is a relaxing and enjoyable treatment that releases
muscular and nervous tension and stimulates the circulation.
The Syllabus includes:
- History and theory of Indian Head Massage
- Benefits and Effects
- Oils that may be used
- Classical massage movements
- Chakra positions and their relevance to treatment
- Holistic Approach
- Contra indications and reactions to treatment.
- Client care.
- Conditions of the neck and shoulders.
- Understanding different hair types.
- Performing Indian head massage!
