Fascinating subject? Interesting? Incredible? You bet it is!
You have three choices:
- you can gain the ITEC Anatomy and Physiology Diploma before starting a therapy course
- or you can do it at the same time as a therapy course (eg massage/reflexology/aromatherapy massage/sports)
- or you could just learn Anatomy and Physiology for your own reasons – e.g. you want to know more about how the body works or want to test the water to see if you could do a full therapy course and therefore improve your confidence and self esteem (the reasons are endless)
If you later wish to train as a therapist for which the Anatomy & Physiology is a must – this means you would have less coursework as a lot of it is already done!
ITEC Anatomy & Physiology is also suitable for those going on to advanced courses i.e. Equestrian; Kinesiology; Shiatsu, Bowen etc
We have workshops on Anatomy and Physiology so that you can gain some knowledge before you start the course – you will become familiar with some of the anatomy names and how different systems link together – how the body works in simple terms – please click here for workshops page
